  • Safety Backed Mirror doors use 4mm Safety back silver mirror with reinforcement panel to rear.

How to order
  • First, choose the style you prefer (Northdown or Admiral)
  • Second, choose the colour you prefer
  • Third, find the sizes you need.
  • Tip: A 600mm wide cabinet normally has a door 596mm wide (the 2mm each side is so the doors won't touch each other and have a clear opening space)
  • Tip: For a size not listed, use the next size up in height and width. Example, for a door 588mm wide, use the 600mm wide price band.
  • Forth, choose any accessories and options you need
  • Cornice (for along the top of the unit), 3 styles
  • Pelmet (along the bottom of wall units), 2 styles
  • Plinth
  • Would you like the hinges pre-drilled?

MFC Panel suitable for use as plinth. Note there may a slight shade difference between the MFC material and vinyl material. This is common throughout the industy and we have vinyl doors on full kitchen displays with MFC plinths. Please ask if you'd like us to point out which ones they are (it's hard to tell). These can be made as edged panels in the same was as the Admiral range of doors are made, using PVC edging. Although they cost more, they will be more resistant to water damage

Northdown PVC Vinyl technical data and care instructions

The vinyl manufacturer has carried out a range of tests on this product. The full technical description is
"Plain colour, semi-rigid, embossed PVC vinyl suitable for v-grooving, flat lamination and profile wrapping applications. The surface is coated with a lacquer, which imparts scratch & mark resistance during machining and assembly. This product is available in a range of colours/textures and lacquer finishes."

Typical Physical Properties - tested to BS EN12720

Surface Resistance to:
-Cold Liquids
No staining by:
-Ketchup, Orange Juice, Coke, Vinegar, Vegetable Oil, Water, Coffee, Blackcurrant Juice, Linseed Oil, Milk, Tea, Whiskey, Soap Solution.
Will stain or cause damage with:
-Ballpoint Pen, Felt Marker Pen, Abrasive Cleaners, Organic Solvents.

Recommended cleaning using:
Warm, damp, cloth. Be aware that some liquid soaps have been reported to have an abrasive cleaning action which is why they are no longer recommended for cleaning
